Filter the photographer instead
Listen up Twin Falls!! I’m gonna give you a quick education on how quite a few “self-claimed professional” photographers operate.
- Step 1: They go down to a local electronics store and buy a camera they can afford. (Usually a standard kit, with kit lenses
- Step 2: They download a photo editing software; photoshop, lightroom, elements, etc. (beings they are now cheap to purchase)
- Step 3: The next step is they get online and purchase cheap actions, filters, etc. (just like applying filters using instagram/photoshop/etc.).
- Step 4: They go straight to social media sites / groups and start advertising “Cheap pictures, come to me!”, “Low price”, “sale, sale, sale”.
And here lies the problem, that’s exactly what you are spending your hard-earned money on. Cheap. Yes it’s a great price, but that’s it. Lack of experience, lack of poses, lack of quality, lack of knowledge. Cousin Eddie could of done the same thing with his cellphone for a can of beer.
Want quality? Save up your money and go to a professional with an actual studio, actual professional gear, actual retouch knowledge, actual posing skills. Yes their is a difference, research before you get the next best sale.
